Brad Stuart scored with 1:07 left to lift the Detroit to a 5-4 win over the visiting Edmonton Oilers on Tuesday night after the Red Wings blew a 4-0 second-period lead.
Johan Franzen had a goal and an assist, and Andreas Lilja, Nicklas Kronwall and Drew Miller also scored for Detroit, which won its sixth straight. Jimmy Howard stopped 22 shots.
Blue Jackets 3, Lightning 2: Rick Nash scored twice, leading Columbus past visiting Tampa Bay.
Senators 5, Capitals 4, OT: Alex Kovalev scored a power-play goal with 18 seconds remaining in overtime - his first point since the Olympic break - and Ottawa won at Washington for its fifth consecutive victory.
Maple Leafs 3, Thrashers 2: Nik Antropov picked the perfect time to get his first career goal against his former team, scoring the winner to help Atlanta keep its playoff hopes alive with a victory at Toronto.
