LIBBY - Kyle Knox and Devon Rocker both homered in an eight-run second inning helping the Glacier AA Twins whip Libby's Loggers 15-1 in American Legion baseball play Thursday evening.

Knox drilled a solo shot, while Rocker's homer was a two-run blast.

Glacier (3-8 overall) totaled 14 hits in the ballgame.

Libby was held to three hits by four Glacier pitchers.

"The Loggers weren't mentally ready to play," Libby coach Kelly Morford said.

"Glacier came out swinging and got us down early and it stayed that way.

"Glacier swung the bats really well," Morford added.

"Hats off to them."

Cody Elek went 3 for 5 for Glacier. All his hits were doubles.

Carl Talsma, Cody Hill and Rocker had two hits each for the Twins.

Libby (5-6) hosts the Bitterroot Bucks on Saturday. The first pitch is slated for 5:05 p.m.
