Welcome. So here we are at the blog. Feel free to comment and add your take on the content. This should be a great way for readers and friends to visit about the outdoor scene and life in general.

As I mentioned in the Oct. 9 Fishing and Hunting Report, my wife, Garnet, and I traveled to the Davenport area last week for a wild turkey hunt during the Early Fall Turkey Hunt. The limit was one turkey of either sex in the area, plus two beardless turkeys in the general area around Colville.

We didn't feel the need to travel from Davenport to Colville, so we just stayed close to our new camping trailer and visited with friends.

Our stay included several hunts with our friend, Jim Jerow, shooting a nice hen on Tuesday and Garnet and I also shooting a hen each on Wednesday.
