James Wereley, 67, left his loving family on May 19, 2010. Jim was born in Elmira, N.Y., on Aug.  30, 1942, to John E. and Jessie E. (Carl) Wereley.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and sister Alice Wereley Crusenberry. Survivors include his wife, Debbie at home in Harrison; sister Dorothy Corby of Pine City, N.Y.; daughters Michelle Wereley of Newport, S.C., Diana Zook (Chad) of Graham, Texas; sons Jason Wereley of Coeur d’Alene (Camie), and Eric Kondracki (Valerie) of Bryson, Texas; stepchildren Jay Wright of Albany, Ore., and Nichole Wright of Kingston; grandchildren Danielle, Colin, Bryson, Kendall, Christian, Britni, Jonathon, Liz, Dylan and Harlan.

Loving father and husband, good friend and neighbor, doting dog daddy, grumpy mill worker and creative soul — Jim loved to fish, build and putter in his shop. Money wasn’t important to him, but relationships were. God bless you; we will miss you.
