COEUR d'ALENE - Excitement from winning big on Lottery scratch tickets takes many forms. For Ashly Freligh of Coeur d'Alene, the energy of winning fueled a late night drive to Boise to collect $30,000 on Thursday morning.

"I actually bought the ticket around 8 a.m. (Wednesday)," said an excited Freligh. "I knew I'd won, but I had some family matters to take care of during the day, so we didn't leave for Boise until around 4:30 in the evening. It's a long drive, but definitely worth it."

This makes the second time in as many days the Idaho Lottery has paid a five-figure winner on scratch ticket from Coeur d'Alene. Freligh bought her winning Keno Scratch ticket from Fairway Gas and Grocery, located at 1735 W. Kathleen Ave. The store is just down the road from the lucky Super 1 Foods store where Carline Centers won $50,000 on the Sherlock Holmes scratch game the previous day.

For their part in selling the winning ticket, Fairway Gas and Grocery will receive a bonus from the Idaho Lottery of $3,600.

Freligh plans to save her winnings and apply it toward going to school.
