The Bigfork Land Use Advisory Committee is seeking applicants for two seats that have recently become open.

The regular member seat that was held by Chuck Gough will be appointed on Dec. 2 and the member will serve until elections in May. Gough, who had long been a member of the Bigfork Steering Committee and the BLUAC, died at the beginning of October.

Also open is the position of member at large. Peter Strelinger, who has held that position since his appointment this summer, is moving out of the zoning area and therefore must vacate his seat. The member at large, which is a year-long, committee-appointed position, will also be selected Dec. 2. This person will serve until the end of May.

Applicants must be registered voters in the Bigfork zoning area for a minimum of two years.

Letters of interest can be sent to chair Paul Guerrant at PO Box 1988, Bigfork, MT 59911. For more information, call 837-2124. The deadline for applications for both positions is Dec. 1.
