Told you so!

Well, the mid-term elections have come and gone. So have many of the politicians — for a while anyway.

A few months ago I commented, “When the outgo exceeds the income, the upkeep will be your downfall.

Now I believe you understand what you think I said, but I’m not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant! In other words: Balance the budget and then budget the balance.”

Last week a lot of voters sent a similar message. Time will tell whether or not the victors — and holdovers — were listening.
