Erin Leighty, St. John’s Lutheran Hospital human resources coordinator, recently attended the American Society of Healthcare and Human Resources Association national conference in Tampa, Fla.

Leighty went to the conference in part through a $1,500 regional MetLife scholarship. She attended six human resources learning sessions at the conference on the topics of health-care reform, multigenerational workforce challenges, recruiting and retention techniques and orientation improvements.
