Richardson named Maurices manager

Women's clothing store Maurices, at Silver Lake Mall, has named Robin Richardson as the new store manager.

Richardson is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store, including sales performance, visual presentation, and personnel recruitment and training.

Maurices is wholly owned by Dressbarn Inc. Maurices operates over 750 stores in 44 states.

Business after hours to be hosted by Pinnacle

The Coeur d'Alene Chamber of Commerce said today's business after hours networking event will be hosted by Pinnacle Physical Therapy, at 3322 Grand Mill Lane, in Coeur d'Alene.

The event will be from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Business After Hours is a networking event and an opportunity for members to show off their offices or facilities.

Kincaid-Slate passes qualification exam

Claire M. Kincaid-Slate, project manager and interior designer with the firm H2A Architects, PA, in Coeur d'Alene, recently passed the national council for interior design qualification examination.

Passage of the examination and earning the credentials signifies that Kincaid-Slate has met the standards for education, experience and examination for interior designers in North America.

A minimum of six years of combined education and experience is required before being eligible to take the practice-based examination.

The exam covers programming, schematic design, design development, contract documents, contract administration and professional practice, among other related topics such as codes, sustainability and universal design.

Allen hired by Kootenai Prosthetics

Kootenai Prosthetics and Orthotics in Coeur d'Alene has hired Richard Allen as a clinical prosthetic specialist.

He graduated from St. Petersburg College of Orthotics and Prosthetics and is certified by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics.

Allen sees amputee and brace patients in KPO's Coeur d'Alene and Sandpoint offices from initial visit throughout all phases of fitting and mobilization.

"As a below knee, congenital amputee, he brings a high level of personal understanding and empathy to patient care," a press release said.

Kootenai Prosthetics and Orthotics, at 1321 Northwood Center Court, Coeur d'Alene, and 1309 Ponderosa Drive, Sandpoint, has served patients in the Inland Northwest since 1980.
