COLUMBIA BASIN - Representatives of the Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC), Othello, Ephrata, and Quincy once again had strong fall season and in doing so many athletes earned all league honors.

In football, Othello was well represented, especially with Caleb Garza earning CWAC Offensive Most Valuable Players honors, as well as unanimous first team running back, first team defensive back, and first team speciality/return specialist.

A number of other Huskies joined Garza on the all-league list, including, Adrian Garcia (first team offensive tackle), DJ Cantu (first team tight end), Tyson Mollotte (first team defensive lineman), Joey Gomez  (first team defensive lineman), Andrew Gomez (second team defensive lineman), Amando Deleon (second team inside linebacker), Eddie Garza (second team outside linebacker), Matt Jordan (second team outside linebacker), Sam Para (second team wide receiver), Jakob Reichert (Second team center), Derek Valdez (second team guard), Ian Rehuame (honorable mention tackle), David Garza (honorable mention quarterback), Austin Roylance (honorable mention defensive back), Dylan Garza (honorable mention defensive lineman), and Joseph Walker (honorable mention inside linebacker).

Quincy was represented by first team wide receiver Kody Berens, and honorable mention selections Manny Ybarra (running back and defensive back) and Cody Beaumont (wide receiver).

Volleyball saw strong Columbia Basin representation from Ephrata's Kendra De Hoog (first team middle blocker), and Mary Askew (second team libero).

Othello's Christine Kirkwood (setter) and Madison Peterson (libero) were chosen honorable mention.

In soccer, Othello's Allesha Reyes (goaltender), Ephrata's Kari Inch (midfielder), and Lindsay Garza of Othello (forward) were chosen CWAC first-team members.

Inch was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year along with Brooke Adams of Prosser.    

Ephrata players Kayla Franks (second team defender), and Emily Sween (second team midfielder) were also recognized were the CWAC.

Othello's Marissa Martinez (second team defender), Grace Allard (honorable mention defender), Daisy Salgado (honorable mention midfielder), and Alexis Martinez (honorable mention forward) were other members of the Lady Huskies' Class 2A state tournament qualifiers.

Quincy was represented by Kala Brindle (second team forward) and Kylie Williamson (honorable mention midfielder).
