Winter sports programs for kids announced

MOSES LAKE - Moses Lake Parks and Recreation have announced their winter programs that will be made available to local youths.
Little Dribblers Basketball
•For boys ages, K-6.
•It will run Dec 4, 11, 18 and Jan. 8, 15, 22.
•Held at Moses Lake High School's Chief Gym.
•Times: Grades K-2 - 9-10 a.m.; Grades 3-6 - 10-11 a.m.
•Cost: $35, includes T-Shirt.
•Program: Instruction in basic fundamentals of basketball. Emphasis on sportsmanship and enthusiasm for sports. Participants wearing their Little Dribbler T-Shirts will get into the Moses Lake High School basketball game for free on Jan. 21.
Little Hoopsters Basketball
•For girls ages, K-6.
•It will run Dec 4, 11, 18 and Jan. 8, 15, 22.
•Held at Moses Lake High School's Chief Gym.
•Times: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m.
•Cost: $35, includes T-Shirt.
•Program: Instruction in basic fundamentals of basketball. Emphasis on sportsmanship and enthusiasm for sports. Participants wearing their Little Hoopster T-Shirts will get into the Moses Lake High School basketball game for free on Jan. 21.
Mat Muscle Wrestling
•Boys and girls, ages, K-6.
•It will run Dec 6, 13, 20 and Jan. 3, 10, 17.
•Held at Moses Lake High School's Wrestling Room
•Times: 6 - 7 p.m.
•Cost: $35, includes T-Shirt.
•Program: Fundamental wrestling skills, conditioning, and sportsmanship will be taught. Participants wearing their Mat Muscle T-Shirt will get into the Moses Lake High School wrestling match for free on Jan. 8.
Please register prior to program start date at the Moses Lake Parks and Recreation Office - 411 S. Balsam. Offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
