City College of San Francisco football
Menard, a sophomore from Lake City High, is the starting center for the Rams, who take a 10-0 record into the northern California championship game Saturday at home vs. Fresno City College in what is also called the Hawaiian Punch Community College Bowl. The winner advances to the state championship for community colleges in California on Dec. 11 in southern California against either Mt. San Antonio or Cerritos. CCSF is the top-ranked community college football team in northern California.

Loper, a freshman from Post Falls High, had eight points and three rebounds in 19 minutes as the Pride (3-1) defeated Providence 80-76 in a nonconference game on Monday.

Baker, a sophomore from Lake City High and the Coeur d'Alene Charter Academy, had 16 rebounds and 11 points for the Grizzlies (2-2) in a 65-62 nonconference win over the Aggies on Saturday night in Logan, Utah.

McArthur, a junior from Post Falls High, had 12 points, seven rebounds and four steals for the Boxers (0-2) in a 69-58 loss to Evergreen State College on Saturday in Olympia, Wash.

Drager, a freshman from Coeur d'Alene High, had 15 points and six rebounds in the Lady Yotes' (4-2) 78-61 win over Montana Western in the championship game of the Aramark Classic in La Grande, Ore.

Dietz, a freshman from Post Falls High, finished the season with 51 kills, 28 assists, five aces, 92 digs and 20 blocks for the Warriors in a 20-18 season.

Meehan, a freshman from Post Falls High, had 10 kills, 15 digs and three blocks for the Warriors in a 25-16, 25-17, 20-25, 25-13 season-ending win over Treasure Valley on Nov. 10. Meehan had with 181 kills, 298 digs, 19 aces and 25 blocks as the starting left side hitter for the Warriors.

Howard, a defender from Post Falls High, became the fifth player in school history to earn American Southwest Conference Defensive Freshman of the Year. Howard scored two goals and added an assist for five points in the her first season with the Comets, who finished 12-6-2.

Grossman, a freshman from Lake City High, finished 62nd in the NAIA cross country championships on Saturday, finishing the 3.1-mile race in 18 minutes and 59 seconds. The Fighting Saints finished 20th in their first appearance at nationals.
