Patrick J. Hauck, 80, passed away at home Friday, Nov. 19, 2010. He was born Feb. 17,

1930, in Aberdeen, S. D., and moved to Coeur d'Alene with his family in 1947. After moving to Coeur d'Alene he worked at Ohio Match and NW Timber Saw Mills and was a dairy farmer in the Post Falls area for 35 years.

He married Gwen Rude in 1951. In 1990 Pat retired and he and Gwen moved to Lincoln City, Ore., where he enjoyed his favorite pastime of fishing. In 2005 he and Gwen returned to the Post Falls area.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jerry Hauck, in 1996. He leaves behind his wife, Gwen Hauck, of Post Falls; daughter Coleen Pierce of Spokane; son Ron Hauck and wife Brenda of Coeur d'Alene and five grandchildren: Dylan Hauck, Ryan Hauck, Derek Dunn, Chelsea Arnold, Taylor Hauck.

We will miss his sense of humor and his loving way of constantly reminding us of "Right and Wrong."
