GOP: Party of hypocrisy
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 14 years, 3 months AGO
The Republicans are rallying to "Take Back America." How nice. Did they mention that they already gave it away to Corporate America, the rich and China?
During GWB's reign, 5 million manufacturing jobs were outsourced, the upper 2 percent now own more than 60 percent of America's wealth, and the Corporations that have been given huge tax incentives and royalties to exploit slave labor around the globe sell us back their goods WITH TAX. That's GOP Capitalism. Have a nice day.
Then the GOP feels compelled to give them the famous Bush Tax Cuts for all they've done for us. That's another unfunded $700 billion at the expense of the middle class. Their justification is that it produces jobs. President Clinton produced 20 million jobs without the Bush Tax Cuts, and President Bush created one million jobs with them. To a Republican, that means we must multiply the Bush Tax Cuts by 19. Yes sir, that'll do it. You betcha!
The GOP is now calling President Obama a Communist for trying to give incentives to corporations to stop sending our jobs to Communist Nations? Then they have the nerve to campaign on "restoring sanity?" Did they mention that their new plan is actually the definition of insanity, which is to do things the same way, and expect a different result?
That's right. The Republican "Pledge to America" has been unveiled. They simply recycled GWB's strategy that crippled America, put it on steroids, called it "new and improved," and Bingo! Instant economic recovery! Combine that with paralyzing the Senate, offending every minority on Earth, dividing the country, and you have the recipe for a certified "Glenn Beck Flyover." That's when a fully loaded goose flies in low, craps hard and takes off (with your job and tax dollars), and heads for China.
Then there is the TEA Party. American flags a wavin', Patriots in arms, and protesters waving the Constitution and anti-Obama slander. Joined by Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer down at border with popcorn, Pepsi and apple pie as American Corporations pass through the toll booth where your job passes through to Mexico legally, and TAX FREE.
Meanwhile the TEA Party cheers them on with background music from the National Anthem. Republicans see no hypocrisy, and feel no shame condemning a Mexican crossing that exact border looking for food, a job or medical care. Dress this garbage in red, white and blue, wave a Bible over it, get a billionaire to fund the march, and you can convince an army of idiots that the Earth is still flat.
Republicans blame all problems on Labor Unions and The "Big Bad Government," and that TransNational Corporations are our salvation. Trust Goldman Sachs instead of the FDIC.
Come Nov. 2, the choice is simple: You either trust the President of the United States and OUR CONSTITUTION, or you trust CEOs and THEIR CONSTITUTION, which is the BOTTOM LINE. The choice is yours.
