Harold George Neep fondly known as Billy by family and friends graduated to Heaven Oct. 1, 2010, from (multiple Myaloma) at Ivy Court in Coeur d'Alene, surrounded by family; very loved and will be missed by many. He was born Dec. 8, 1934, in Sacramento, Calif.; the eldest of seven children.

Billy worked in the timber industry in the Sierra Nevada Mountains for many years until retiring in 1991. He then moved to the north coast of California to Crescent City. After becoming a Christian in 1969, Billy found a passion for sharing God's word with people and so after moving to Crescent City he became a volunteer chaplain at the Pelican Bay State Prison for a number of years and also ministered in several nursing homes throughout his life. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles in his earlier years.

Billy is survived by his wife of 56 years, four children, 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and five siblings.

Viewing will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel. Graveside service will be at held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2010, at Pinegrove Cemetery in Rathdrum with Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel, entrusted with arrangements. A memorial service will be held at Rathdrum Bible Church following the graveside service.
