Cielak, Farrell take first place in golf tourney

Joe Cielak and Charlie Farrell claimed top honors in the final tournament of the season at Cabinet View Golf Club.

Competing in the Clam Chowder Golf Tournament, Cielak shot a round of 76 for low gross and Farrell had a 64 for low net.

Jerry Mee had second low gross with a 77 – just one stroke behind the winner. Wayne Haines came in third with an 82.

Gary Peck and Jim Mee finished second and third, respectively, for low net with scores of 67.

The three-club tournament attracted 38 players.
