NOXON - The Vikings' (5-0) defense pitched their second shutout of the season at they stayed undefeated with a 26-0 victory over Noxon last Friday on the road.

"We have a bend but don't break philosophy," Charlo head coach Mike Krahn said.

Krahn has talked about poise all season and Charlo has yet to crack. They also focus on pursuing the ball as a team.

"If you look at the stats, we don't have a whole lot of solo tackles," Krahn said.

Senior quaterback Chico Stipe was once again a star in the game, rushing for 154 yards on 11 carries.

Charlo did have to overcome penalty problems that wiped out big plays, but were able to play through that frustration.

"I was proud our kids response," he said. "It's nice to see character come out."

The Vikings will play Lincoln at 7 p.m. on Friday at home.
