The Bonners Ferry High School junior varsity football team fought hard in Moscow on Sept. 30. to end the battle with a 22 to 14 loss.
“The Moscow team was older and bigger,” said assistant coach Danny Swift.
Swift said the Badgers defense played better on the passing game but struggled with tackling on the open field and the offense was up and down all night.
The team will be spending the week hard at practice in preparation for their second league game.
The junior varsity Badgers play at 6 p.m. today at home against Kellogg.
