Libby spikers down Flathead JV in 4

The Libby High School volleyball squad took the floor on Tuesday night with a match against Kalispell Flathead’s junior varsity. The Lady Loggers took the match in four games, 25-16, 25-18, 20-25, 25-21.

Alex Kulbeck led the attack with seven ace serves, five kills, two blocks and seven digs. Kim Tangen had a team-high nine kills to go along with seven digs.

Lauren Wepprecht and Becky Boulware also had five kills apiece. Lexi Hageness had 25 of the team’s 29 set assists and contributed four aces. Libero Alyssa Walker was tops in digs with 14.

Libby will play host to Ronan for homecoming on Saturday. The action begins at 3 p.m., with non-varsity matches.
