Mental health conference slated

Flathead Valley Community College-Lincoln County Campus in Libby will host the Fall 2010 Mental Health Conference on Thursday, Oct. 14.
The event, sponsored by the Libby Interagency Local Advisory Council on Mental Health and Families In Partnership, will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
Among the presenters will be Mark Clark of FVCC and Amy Paris of Western Montana Mental Health. Topics will include co-occurring illnesses, handling grief, life stories, parenting a mentally ill child, resources and more.
A free lunch will be provided from noon-1 p.m.
