WHITEFISH - Jordan Danz had 14 kills and Julia Smith added 10 digs and served five aces as the visiting Stillwater Cougars swept the Whitefish Bulldogs 25-21, 25-9, 25-17 in a nonconference volleyball match on Tuesday.

The Cougars extended their undefeated season to 24-0.

Madison Tveidt led Whitefish with nine kills and three aces.

"Give all the credit to Stillwater. They are a great ballclub," said Whitefish coach Jackie Fuller.

"We did not play in sync tonight," she said.

"Stillwater is a good ballclub and they play well. Dave (Shawback) does a great job there," she added.

"I think Whitefish played really, really hard. They did a good job. It was senior night (for the Bulldogs)," said Stillwater coach Dave Shawback.

"But my girls are just playing so much as a team.

"They were able to defensively take away a few things that Whitefish wanted to do," he said.

"I just didn't think mentally we were there. We made a lot of mental mistakes and we just couldn't get into a flow tonight," Fuller said.

The Cougars played their best volleyball in the second set. They committed only four errors in that set, Shawback said.

"(Setter) Morgan Paolini did a great job of leading our offense tonight," he added.

"As a team, we served 97 percent tonight. It seems like the better we serve, the better we play."

The Cougars are off now until 1 p.m. Saturday when they play host to District 7B Bigfork.

Whitefish travels to Missoula for the weekend for the annual Missoula Tournament.

The Bulldogs will be in the Sentinel pool.
