The Vikings celebrated senior night with a 43-24 victory over Troy on the football field Friday night.
The win earned them the District 7B title and the right to host the first playoff game, which will likely be Oct. 30.
The following day in Billings, the Valkyries lost their playoff game to undefeated Billings Central 5-0. The loss ended the Bigfork girls' season.
Also on Saturday, Bigfork's volleyball team fell to loss-less Stillwater Christian 3-1 in non-conference play. That was the Val's second-straight loss last week after also falling to Thompson Falls on Thursday.
Tonight, Oct. 18, the junior varsity football team travels to Troy. Tomorrow the girls volleyball teams will compete against the Trojans in Troy and Friday they host Plains for their final home match of the season at which senior night will be celebrated. On Saturday the cross-country team will travel to Helena for the state meet.
