ROYAL CITY - A scoreless 80 minute battle between former league nemeses, the Warden Lady Cougars and Royal Lady Knights, meant 10 more minutes of action between the two on Saturday.

When overtime couldn't solve the issue it was on to the penalty shootout.

There, Warden (6-3) knocked in all five kicks while Royal was held to three makes as the Lady Cougars escaped with the win.

Warden outshot Royal 8-7 in the game.

Taylor Edson, Brylee Whitney, Tawnie Gonsalez, Leslie Estrada, and Elizabeth Pruneda all converted their penalty kicks for the Lady Cougars to secure the win.
