First win for Noxon Girls

The Noxon Red Devils (1-7 conf., 1-10 ovr.) broke into the win column for the first time this season, defeating Hot Springs, 3-1, in a District 10-C conference match.

On Thursday, the Red Devils battled for the, 25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 25-18 win.

Cara Stettler had a big game to lift the Red Devils with 15 kills and 10 aces. Kim Marich added three blocks, Shelby Clark had 21 digs, and 21 assists.

For Hot Springs, Alex Green tallied eight kills. Alyssa Foster had 20 digs and Lindsey Salmi had 10 assits. Hannah Retlick and Foster had five aces each.

In their final contest of the regular season, Noxon will host Troy on Friday at 5:30 p.m. for the Red Devils Senior Night.
