The Lady Hawks defeated Bigfork, 3-1, before falling to Florence, 0-3, last week.
In a District 7-B match on Thursday, the Lady Hawks bested the Vals,
25-15, 24-26, 25-21, 25-18, in a District 7-B match
Sophomore middle hitters Kelsey Fitchett and Hope Reid combined for 36 kills to lead the Bluehawks.
Fitchett floored a match-high 19 kills while Reid contributed 17. Emily Wadsworth and Makayla Becker each scooped up 19 digs. Allison Vaught set 33 assists to lead all players.
Mallery Knoll had 17 kills of her own, for the Vals and Kianna Wicklund had a match-high 27 digs.
Versus the District 6-B Falcons, the hosting Lady Hawks falls fell in straight sets, 25-14, 25-14, 25-23.
Reid had one block and was in double-digits kills again, with 13 for Thompson Falls. Becker had 14 digs, and Kelsey Fitchett was deadly behind the line, with six aces.
Mackenzie Bauke had 23 assists and a block to lead the Falcons, she was aided by Courtney Byrne’s eight kills and Karli Cotton’s three aces. Tayler Marcielli added six digs for Florence.
