Lady Bobcats swept twice

It was a long week for the Superior Lady Bobcats who were swept twice, first versus Valley Christian on Thursday, and later against Loyola on Saturday.
At Valley Christian, the Bobcats fell in straight sets, 25-20, 25-22, 25-15 in the District 6-B showdown.
For the Bobcats, Nikki Stroot had four kills and five digs, Kaitlynn Koke added four kills and four blocks, Kenzie Cooper scrounged up five digs of her own, and Rhandy Cox had seven assists.
Charisa Ireland collected 10 blocks and six digs for Valley Christian. Heidi Cross floored nine kills, Audrey Huber set 15 assists, and Tessa Pearson had three service aces.
Although the setting changed on Saturday, the result was the same as the Breakers won in straight sets, 25-18, 25-13, 25-7.
Superior got five kills from Kelsey Stenberg, six blocks from Kaitlyn Koke, five digs from Ashley Blalock, and six assists from Cary Chamberlain.
Loyola-Sacred heart was led by Kiernan Haggarty’s 11 kills. Madison Mansch set 15 assists and Callan haggarty led the Breakers with four aces. Stevie Kahle tallied 14 digs, and Alex Anderson stuffed two blocks.
Next week the Lady Bocats will travel to face Plains on the road Thursday before squaring off versus Florence at 6 p.m. at home, on Saturday.
