Spikers have tough time in Missoula tournament

The Kats had a tough weekend at the Missoula Invitational, marking only one split match with Libby and six defeats.
Friday, Oct. 15, Columbia Falls fell to Great Falls, 20-6, 20-17; Flathead, 20-10, 20-3; Helena, 20-10, 20-9; Hellgate, 20-10, 20-13; Anaconda, 20-12, 20-12; and Butte, 20-8, 20-5. The scores of split match with Libby were 19-20 and 20-13.
The Columbia Falls High School volleyball team went on to play in the consolation bracket Saturday, Oct. 16. The team was edged early in the first round by Missoula Big Sky, 25-14, 25-18.
The Kats play Stevensville and Browning at home Thursday, Oct. 21. They play Dillon at home Friday, Oct. 22.
