ROYAL CITY - All season long the Connell volleyball team has bulldozed its way through most of its South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) East competition.

Last night in Royal City was no different.

The host Lady Knights fell 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-14) to Connell to drop to 6-13 overall and 3-7 in the SCAC East, which all but eliminates Royal from district playoff contention.

"They did to us what they have been doing to teams all season," Royal head coach Paul Olsufka said. "I take my hat off to them. Connell's girls are top notch."

Terin Gonzales had four kills for Royal while Lindsey Christensen added five digs and two kills and Marija Rollema added three kills.

"Our girls got to see what it takes to play at a high level," Olsufka said. "We had some decent moments and had some good runs."
