Melinda Burnadette Roach and Timothy Alexander Thompson – both of Troy – announced their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Burdette Taylor of Troy. She is a 1987 graduate of Troy High School and is employed at Dr. Mendive, DDS.
The groom-to-be is the son of Alex and Eileen Thompson of Florida. He is a 1985 graduate of Troy High School and is employed at the Troy Mine.
The wedding is planned for Dec. 18 at Troy Community Baptist Church. Jim Webly will officiate.
