The Badgers lost their league game Friday in Timberlake 21 to 6.

“We simply made too many mistakes against a team that was big, fast, and physical and played disciplined defense,” said coach Ed DePriest.  “We could not stop the criss-cross counter, which accounted for all three Timberlake Touchdowns.”

the offense put the ball on the ground six times, according to DePriest.  The team played hard but needed a flawless game to pull off the win.

The offense ran 250 yards but had many mistakes, missed blocks or penalties which killed the Badgers drives and gave Timberlake an opportunity to sustain their drives.

Alek Lopez score the touchdown for the Badgers.

The next game will be at 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, against Priest River at home in the last league game.
