Diabetes, eyesight program coming Nov. 9

Libby Diabetes Awareness and Support and St. John’s Lutheran Hospital are sponsoring a program on Tuesday, Nov. 9 entitled, “Seeing Cleary: Taking Special Care of Your Eyes If You Have Diabetes.”

Dr. Steve Sorensen will lead the discussion, which begins at 7 p.m., at Christ Lutheran Church in Libby.

Following initial testing, a white-tailed deer in Lincoln County is suspected to be positive for chronic wasting disease, according to a press release from Fish, Wildlife and Parks.
