MISSOULA — Lexy Boschee had 19 kills and three blocks, Cami Mathison had 12 digs and two aces and the Glacier volleyball team improved to 3-0 overall with a conference win against Hellgate on Tuesday.

The Wolfpack, led by six seniors on this year’s squad, won in three: 25-11, 25-21 and 25-20.

“It was a great way to get a conference opener,” Glacier coach Christy Harkins said. “The girls came out really aggressive and they kept their level of intensity pretty high throughout the match.”

Glacier hosts Flathead on Thursday at 7 p.m.

BIGFORK — Linnea Hashley had two blocks and three aces and Katie Harrel added 16 kills as Stillwater Christian defeated Bigfork in nonconference action.

Bigfork, under new head coach Tracy Wicklund, managed 16 aces and 114 digs. Mallery Knoll had six aces and 14 kills.

“It was up and down and my girls were being really scrappy,” Wicklund said.

“I was really happy how they played. We’re such a small team compared to most so we have to be scrappy.”
