COEUR d'ALENE - Worried about the future? Wondering what's in store? Still trying to figure out the best way to prepare for your golden years?

Answers await at the Young at Heart Expo scheduled 4-7 p.m. Thursday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

The event will feature more than 40 exhibitors and refreshments. There will also be a chance to win a $400 Resort gift package.

A number of presentations are prepared for the "Baby Boomer Generation."

There will be booths with representatives to talk about health care, hearing, home security, medication, and home care services. Financial planning will also be covered, with someone to talk about reverse mortgages, living trusts, retirement and more.

Almost every subject of interest to the Baby Boomers will be on the agenda, including shoes.

"Many of the issues someone experiences with their feet can be explained by looking at the shoes they are currently wearing," wrote Camron Cutler of Sole Solutions, which has a store in Spokane Valley.

Mark Bergtson of Pinnacle Physical Therapy in Post Falls will be on hand to discuss back pain.

"My goal is to help people decrease their pain and increase their quality of life by getting patients back to what they are used to doing, like walking, golfing, biking or just being able to cook and clean pain-free," he said.

Reverse mortgages remain an option.

"Your retirement years should be spent without financial worry," wrote Larry Waters, reverse mortgage specialist with Wells Fargo. "So if you're 62 years of age or older, now may be the time to consider a reverse mortgage to unlock the wealth you've built up under your own roof."

The expo is free and open to the public.
