RATHDRUM - Billed as the premier alternative triathlon in North Idaho, the Rathdrum Mountain Adventure Race encompasses mountain biking, kayaking and a run.

The new event will be held on Saturday, Sept. 11, and participants get to experience a 22 mile mountain bike on Rathdrum mountain, take in the beauty of upper & lower Twin Lakes on a 5.5 mile kayak leg, and finish it off with a trail run of 6 miles back to Rathdrum's city park.

There are events for kids, displays, food vendors, outdoor gear vendors (boats, kayaks, bikes, tents, etc.), and much more. You can participate as an individual competing in all three legs, or as a team. Time is running out to get registerd for this event.
