KELLOGG - Greyhound Lines is set to make Kellogg a stop for buses headed to locations including Missoula, Seattle and Spokane.

"We are pleased to provide the residents of Kellogg with a full-service location, giving customers a more centralized agency to access their travel needs," said Mike Timlin, Greyhound Lines, Inc. district manager.

The new Kellogg location will operate out of The Guesthouse Inn and Suites on Bunker Avenue beginning Tuesday, when Kellogg will become one of more than 3,800 destinations available through Greyhound Lines, Inc. in North America.

Four daily schedules will be available at the new location, which will be open 24/7.

As a full-service location, tickets will be sold locally and the Greyhound Package Express service will be available. It is unclear the employment impact of the new office, although there will always be at least one employee working and selling tickets.

Greyhound Lines was last in Kellogg Aug. 18, 2004 and is returning to the Silver Valley to honor a request by the community to serve Shoshone County.

For more information, call the Kellogg ticket office at 783-1234.
