Eureka bounces Libby

EUREKA - The Eureka Lions held on to claim a hard-fought volleyball win against Class A Libby on Tuesday.

Tasha Mikita had 10 kills and three aces, Cassidy Morgan had 11 kills and 26 digs and the Lions won 25-20, 21-25, 25-15, 25-18 to improve to 4-1 overall.

"Everyone just did an outstanding job in all areas," Eureka head coach Rhonda Hammond said. "Our hustle and defensive intensity was outstanding all night."

Eureka heads to Florence on Friday.

STEVENSVILLE - Sallie Sams had 17 kills and five blocks, Kayla Duford had 36 assists and four aces and Polson defeated Stevensville in four sets, 25-13, 25-20, 21-25, 28-26.
