Prep Volleyball: Wilson Creek 3, Cascade Christian 0

WENATCHEE - A nice trip to Wenatchee must have been just what the volleyball doctor ordered for the Wilson Creek Lady Devils.

Following a surprise home loss to Columbia Basin Secondary School on Tuesday, the Lady Devils travelled to Cascade Christian and came away with a resounding 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-20) win.

"Overall the play was much better," Wilson Creek head coach Mike Ottis said. "It was much better not just because we won but just because we played better."

Wilson Creek (2-1, 1-1) was led by the play of Holly Wilson who had eight kills and four blocks and Kali Winfrey who finished with 12 service aces and four kills.

"That doesn't even tell the story about Holly because she was a monster at the net and was a huge presence," Ottis said. "Kali missed a couple of serves but 12 aces is pretty good."

Tori Diamond chipped in with nine assists and four kills for Wilson Creek.
