Bigfork's new logo to be rolled out Wednesday

A new logo, website and planned signs to boost marketing efforts in Bigfork are to be unveiled at the Team Bigfork meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 22.
The meeting runs from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in the lobby of the Bigfork Summer Playhouse.
It’s open to anyone interested in “helping move Bigfork into the next decade,” Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bruce Solberg said.
Since January, volunteers have been meeting in committee settings to determine the best ways to brand the community, to develop a new logo that can be used on all promotional materials including directional signs and to create a website, Solberg said.
The results of those meetings will be shared at Wednesday’s meeting.
The idea behind Team Bigfork was to get everyone in the Bigfork community involved in some way in planning for the future, Solberg said.
The overriding goal was to figure out how to market Bigfork and get more people to visit, he said. The strategies developed by committee members will allow Bigfork to compete for tourists on a national level.
“We’re so excited with what we came up with,” Solberg said. “We can’t wait to share it with the community.”
