Kiona-Benton 3, ROYAL 0

ROYAL - The Royal Lady Knights (1-2) couldn't keep the pace with visiting Kiona-Benton last night in a non-league encounter.

The visitors scored early and cruised to a 3-0 win.

"Ki-Be has a number of strong players and they are dangerous on any loose balls in the penalty area," Royal head coach Jens Jensen said. "When we played them in the Jamboree and also in this friendly they have been able to score on four different chances where they latch on to a stray clearance or misjudged touch and fight to poke it away.

"We did our best to make it difficult for them and try to be organized, but the girls are still learning and getting comfortable in their assignments," Jensen added." "We were able to play everyone and gained some valuable experience."
