WARDEN 3, White Swan 0

WHITE SWAN - The Warden Cougars travelled to their first league road match yesterday and set the tone for what could be a strong league campaign.

Warden notched its second straight win with a 3-0 (25-5, 25-19, 25-14) beatdown of host White Swan.

"The girls played really well and passed really well," Warden head coach Jeff Kottong said. "We also served very well with quite a few aces. I was pleased with the result in getting another league win. We brought a couple JV kids up and they contributed really well."

Warden (2-2, 2-1) were led by Carter Marks (five kills, five digs, one solo block), Iris Rodriguez (seven digs, five aces, three kills), Lindsay Cole (17 assists, two aces), Hannah Bisnett (two kills, one solo block), and Chelsea Brown (two aces).
