C volleyball team win PR, Timberlake matches

The Lady Badgers volleyball C team won both matches against visiting teams last week.

The Lady Badgers played Priest River on Thursday and beat them 2-1, with scores of 25-18,  25-14 and  12-15.

Top servers were Mindy Ahner with 14 and MaKenzie Carle with 12. Top hitter was Desirae Minor who came in with 12 hits.

In the Sept. 14 match against Timberlake the C team went 2-1 on the match with scores of 16-25, 25-21, and 15-10.

MaKenzie Carle had 13 good serves and Mindy Ahner had 10.  Desirae Minor had  10 attacks in the match.  Lexi Jones had 12 perfect sets and MaKenzie Carle had 18 according to coach Paula Petesch.

“The girls are working together, learning each other's tendencies and the flow of the game,” said  Petesch. They started off slow, but came together to finish the match with a win.”

The next game is at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 30, in Priest River.

The Bonners Ferry high School Lady Badgers lost to Libby Monday in Troy with a  score of 4-0.
