The Libby Library’s Book Discussion Group plans to meet Tuesday, Sept. 28.

The group will discuss “As Nature Made Him: The Boy Who Was Raised as a Girl,” by John Colapinto.

The non-fiction book focuses on the story of a twin baby boy who, in 1967, suffered a botched circumcision. His family agreed to a radical treatment that would alter his gender in a case that would become one of the most famous in modern medicine.

The discussion begins at 6 p.m. Copies of the book are available at the library for 14-day checkout.
