EPHRATA 3, QUINCY 0

EPHRATA - The host Lady Tigers of Ephrata (5-4, 1-0) cruised to a 3-0 (25-13, 25-13, 25-16) win to open Central Washington Athletic Conference (CWAC) play last night.

Kendra De Hoog led Ephrata with 15 kills and five blocks, Heidi Buchert had 12 kills and three aces and Hallie Duff has 18 assists.

"We had some great play from a lot of contributors and our bench as well," Ephrata head coach Emily Petersen said.

Cassidee Davis had two kills and two blocks for Quincy (2-4, 0-1), while Madison Petersen added eight digs and Janna Hodges finished with seven assists.

"We just struggled tonight all the way around," Quincy head coach Pam Young said. "We got behind and started playing to not make mistakes instead of to win the point."
