Mabton 3, ROYAL 2

ROYAL CITY - The host Royal Lady Knights dropped a home South Central Athletic Conference (SCAC) East decision last night against Mabton.

Mabton held on for 3-2 (25-16, 10-25, 25-18, 23-25, 15-10) win to knock the Lady Knights (3-5, 1-2).

Jadyn Allred led Royal with 21-of-23 serving and three aces while also recording eight digs and four kills.

Lindsey Christensen contributed 14 digs, seven kills, and four digs, and Moriah Christensen also provided 10 assists, four digs and three kills.

"Right now my girls are trying to get to the point of believing themselves a bit," Royal head coach Paul Olsufka said. "They built some confidence in the second game but it wavered back and forth. They are working hard and we are still trying to figure out a few things. We are very young so I am really proud of the girls' development."
