A benefit for Morris Jones of Troy is planned for Saturday, Oct. 2, from 4-8 p.m., at the Kootenai Senior Center in Troy.

Jones was paralyzed from the waist down and left with limited mobility in both arms after a tree fell on him while cutting firewood in June.

The benefit will include a gun raffle and silent auction. A dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs and side dishes, including salad, will be available at $7 per plate.

Donations can be made at Horizon Credit Union, 480 W. Bonner Mall Way, Ponderay, ID 83852 (donate in the name of “Morris Jones”) or at Lincoln County Credit Union, P.O. Box 1586, Libby, MT 59923 (donate to “Jones Electric Account–Morris Benefit Fund).
