Troy Food Pantry in midst of fundraiser

The Troy Food Pantry is on a mission to raise as much money as possible through Town Pump’s “Be A Friend In Deed, Helping Those In Need” program.
From now through the end of November, all donations to the food pantry will be matched up to $2,000 by Town Pump. Funds raised through the program stay in the community.
Donations can be dropped off at the Town Pump in Troy, the food pantry or mailed to: P.O. Box 945, Troy, MT 59935.
The Troy Food Pantry currently serves 422 clients from 186 households.
The pantry distributes food each Monday from 10:30 a.m.-noon. On-call emergency food is available by calling 295-5847.
In other food pantry news, it was announced that Troy will receive a large upright freezer from the 2010 Partner Agency Capacity Building Mini-Grant. The mini-grant program helps emergency food providers that have partnered with the Montana Food Bank Network.
Troy received the freezer to improve the ability to receive and store additional products from the Montana Food Bank Network and other sources.
