WARDEN 8, Oroville 2

OROVILLE - Eight was definitely enough for the Warden Lady Cougars.

Warden (3-2) got hat tricks from Taylor Edson and Brylee Whitney and two goals from Deianeria Caudle to cruise to an 8-2 win at Oroville on Tuesday.

The Lady Cougars led 7-0 before Naomi Peters put two in the net for the hosts.

"By far this was the best effort we have had this season," Warden coach Don Edson said. "We have been working players in several positions trying to find our best line up. Today the whole team worked extremely hard and worked well together. Some of the things we have been struggling with are starting to come around. We still have plenty to work on, but today was a big step forward."

Warden outshot Oroville 20-8.
