Vals shut out Libby

The Bigfork girls soccer team got its second win of the season over the Libby Lady Loggers on Thursday with a 3-0 shutout.

Senior Caitlin Charlebois scored two goals within two minutes of each other in the first half to give Bigfork the advantage. Junior McKinze Shults assisted in the team's first goal and then put one in herself in the second half. Bigfork senior Sierra FIscher was credited with the shutout.

Prior to the girls' game, the Bigfork and Libby boys faced off. The Loggers beat the Vikings 6-0.

The Bigfork teams will travel to Polson for their final regular season conference games Thursday, Oct. 7.
