Dorothy Boyd-Middleton died peacefully in her home in Moses Lake, WA on March 30, 2011.

Born in Seattle, WA on 7/29/31, Dorothy lived for over 50 years in the Seattle area and for the past 16 years in Moses Lake. For over 35 years, until she retired, she was the owner of Floral Specialties in West Seattle; a florist specializing in wedding flowers.

Dorothy was predeceased by her first husband LeRoy Boyd, twin sister Doris McBride and parents Alice and Claude Cory.

She is survived by husband Donald, daughter Linda Walton (Len), three stepchildren Larry, Scott, and Shonna, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A spiritual service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Moses Lake on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00. Family and friends who are unable to attend her memorial service are invited to attend a reception to celebrate her life on Saturday April 9 at the home of a family member in Renton WA.

Dorothy was a woman of strong faith who dispite her continual battles with health issues never waivered from her love of God and the belief that He would care and protect her.

Rememberances can be given in Dorothy's name to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Fund.
