Martin St. Louis scored his 30th goal of the season, helping the Tampa Bay Lightning clinch their first playoff berth since 2007 with a 2-1 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night at Tampa, Fla.

Capitals 4, Blue Jackets 3, OT: Jason Chimera's overtime goal lifted Washington past visiting Columbus.

Wild 4, Oilers 2: At St. Paul, Minn., Niklas Backstrom's 33 saves lifted Minnesota past Edmonton.

Senators 4, Panthers 1: At Sunrise, Fla., Colin Greening scored twice, leading Ottawa past Florida.

Thrashers 1, Flyers 0: Nik Antropov scored, Chris Mason stopped 43 shots, and Atlanta won at Philadelphia.

Islanders 6, Rangers 2: At Uniondale, N.Y., Radek Martinek and P.A. Parenteau both had a goal and assist, leading the Islanders past the Rangers in a battle of New York teams.

Maple Leafs 4, Bruins 3, SO: Nazem Kadri scored the only shootout goal to help Toronto win at Boston.

Sharks 6, Stars 0: Patrick Marleau scored twice to help San Jose beat visiting Dallas.

Predators 3, Avalanche 2: At Denver, Pekka Rinne made 27 saves and Nashville beat Colorado.

Canucks 3, Kings 1: Christian Ehrhoff scored the go-ahead goal with 0.9 seconds left in the second period, leading Vancouver past visiting Los Angeles.
